Webroot Desktop Firewall is a simple product that is easy to use. It doesn’t have a lot of the perks that many of the other firewall packages out there have, but it does do what a firewall is meant to do very well.

I really wanted this to work, but it seems to crash when you allow certain programs access. After 3 months of trying this I have given up. System is windows xp.

Made PC run very slowly that slow I made a drink while IE was loading, uninstalled and back to windows firewall, making things back to normal speed, and this is a PC only one year old with good spec.

Firewall is free,and probaly the best out there regarding vista,webroot just want you to register it,to see how many people use it.

Ok product, but registering? I give it a 3 for being a nagware freeware. Like Ed said earlier, true freeware doesn't require you to register or enter a key. What are they using your info for, anyway?

I download it, go to the site to get the free register key, but it seems to think I have multiple accounts, or some other error. No customer service on the weekend. Find a program you don't have to register for. This isn't true freeware. Maybe it's nagware!
